I find it strange how a lot of the bad work I posted have more comments and favourites than a few of my better work.. what is this? Lol
Well this is one of the photographs I brought along to Swinburn Uni Interview. The teacher who was interviewing me has been a photography teacher for over 15 years but is now into Multimedia. It was my 2nd Interview, and it was the Wantirna South Campus (a Certificate 4 course) and I was talking to him about how the Prahran Campus (a diploma course) had several darkrooms and does seem to be a lot more focused on Photography compared to this campus. He was saying how of course (if I went there that is) he could teach me to use the darkrooms and developing photos on my own even if the rest of the class weren’t interested. But once digital bites you in the neck, you can’t let go and you find out that you can do everything in a darkroom on a computer. Which is something I always knew but I’m just curious.. I guess that’s a good thing about multimedia, there is a diversity in the interest of the students doing Multimedia and the teacher doesn’t mind. I can see how TAFE is very different from school and I’m really happy about it. I hated being at school where I was only restricted to doing what I knew how to do. Especially in media where I had absolutely no help from my teacher in the production of my movie. And in VisCom how my work turned out just because I didn’t know what else to do with my lack of knowledge in Photoshop. I mean how much better would my work would have been if I knew how to use everything properly. I’m getting really excited at starting Multimedia, although it won’t be for another year. Just learning all these new things. I’m getting really bored with the lack of skills I hold.
Anyway I really like this photo for some reason. The depth of field hehe. Realising that my camera isn’t as bad as I thought it was. Oh and it’s getting really sunny outside – summer is on it’s way! Random fact...
The framing is a little dodgy but I can’t be bothered fixing it up.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it.
Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article. In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
Have you ever wondered what something meant as far as Photography goes? Things like "Cable Release", "AEB", "C-41", "Neutral density filter", and "Polarizer"? The photonotes.org Dictionary of Film and Digital Photography is one place to stop and get it all answered. This is quite a valuable resource that explains in depth what a photography term means, and will help those understand who might not know what something is.
